Dear M-Files Customer,
We are informing you of an additional M-Files Cloud service break for servers running M-Files Online 24.3, and a new M-Files Online 24.3 Service Release.
-
Affected deployments: In cloud, this messaging only affects deployments on standard monthly update cadence. No custom upgrade schedule environment updates are made or required.
-
No action required: The service break for M-Files cloud will take place on Sunday March 24th between 08:00-16:00 UTC. During this time, end-users might experience a short break in accessibility while their specific vault is being updated. No action is required from your side for cloud vaults. Your cloud servers will be updated automatically by M-Files.
-
An action for on-premises deployments: If you have an on-premises deployment and are affected by the issue described below, please update your server to the latest release (24.3.13497.4). The release will be available on 26.3. Please download the latest release via the download page. For cloud deployments no action is required on your side, and no additional client updates are necessary for either cloud or on-premises customers.
The service release being deployed addresses the following issue:
-
#169552 - In some conditions, M-Files March '24 Update causes vault event handlers to report repeating unspecified errors during vault initialization. This can cause the vault to be unresponsive until it is restarted.
Please contact our support if you have any questions.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Best regards,
M-Files Team
