We're excited to announce that the new native experiences with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot Agent Builder, and Microsoft 365 Search have been launched! This release brings secure, context-first M-Files content natively into Microsoft 365 Copilot and Search, enabling smarter AI results and a more unified end-user experience across familiar Microsoft 365 applications. Users can seamlessly draft content, generate summaries, create Q&A, conduct research, build assistants and agents in Microsoft 365 Copilot Agent Builder— all while fully respecting M-Files governance, permissions, and compliance.
Rollout and availability
The new capabilities have been released on March 15th, 2026. Beginning March 16th, these will be enabled for M-Files Cloud customers through a phased, vault-by-vault rollout. All cloud environments will receive the update over the following months. If you are interested in early access ahead of the phased rollout, please contact your M-Files representative.
