I have a specific requirements now to provide approval of assignments to substitutes. We have a specific case where we control access of assignment so that only people involved into workflow and assignees have access to document and assignment during approval process. With "Assigned to" metadata, I set read/write rights for specific approvers, the rest of users have just read access (I do this in workflow step before creating an assignment, discussed here in a forum). Then in next step, an assignment is created and assigned to specific approvers.
Now the question is: is there an option to provide access to substitutes through NACL on assignment? I would like to prevent that everyone can edit assignment, just assignees and substitutes.
