Automatic Login with Azure AD - Not So Automatic

We have a new cloud deployment of M-Files that is using Azure AD for authentication. The Azure AD components all appear to be working; however, the automatic login does not log in the user the next time. Instead, they are shown an "M-Files Login" window with a blank username field. This happens on machines that are both Azure AD native joined, Azure AD hybrid joined, and non-Azure AD joined machines.

Does anyone know how to make the login against Azure AD fully automatic?

Thanks!
Jeff

  • We tried each of the available options. "Current Windows User" works fine for the on-premise M-Files vault, but not for the cloud instance. The cloud instance just kicks over to the authentication prompt.

It almost feels like the drop-down or authentication screen needs to prompt for an Azure identity to use and then bind a token for future authentication.
