Automatic Login with Azure AD - Not So Automatic

We have a new cloud deployment of M-Files that is using Azure AD for authentication. The Azure AD components all appear to be working; however, the automatic login does not log in the user the next time. Instead, they are shown an "M-Files Login" window with a blank username field. This happens on machines that are both Azure AD native joined, Azure AD hybrid joined, and non-Azure AD joined machines.

Does anyone know how to make the login against Azure AD fully automatic?

    We tried each of the available options. "Current Windows User" works fine for the on-premise M-Files vault, but not for the cloud instance. The cloud instance just kicks over to the authentication prompt. 

    It almost feels like the drop-down or authentication screen needs to prompt for an Azure identity to use and then bind a token for future authentication.
