Mac user - is there a way to update metadata if referenced within a Word document?

You can enable metadata updates during check-in in the vault settings: Enabling Automatic Updates for Metadata Fields

Since the check-in operation is required, the behavior is slightly different than on Windows with M-Files Desktop installed where the metadata is updated when the file is opened in Word.
