Is there a way to report on how often a common view is used?

View accesses are only recorded to the event log if the vault has User Action Log enabled (and only in the desktop client even then), so in most cases it's not possible to create a report on this unfortunately.

These kinds of system use insights are getting asked more and more and it's an area for improvement, so hopefully in the future there will be new options for this. We are still in early stages with these plans though so nothing concrete to announce at this time.

Joonas Linkola thanks for the reply.  So it looks like we have to have the Electronic Signatures and Advanced Logging module.  Where would I look for that?  I right-moused on our vault and looked at applications, and don't see anything by that name there.  Is that the correct place to see if we have the module?

Electronic Signatures module is enabled in the server license. It's typically an add-on module that is purchased separately. If your subscription does not yet include it, your M-Files representative can provide more information.

User Action Log events include "View or folder opened".
