Updating Text Properties

Question

I have over 7000 records that has a text property called "Document Number". It contains values like 2024-PLE-REC1234. 
 I need to update all the text properties from 2024- PLE -REC1234 to 2024- ENG -REC1234. Is there a way to mass updates these text values?

If it is not a calculated property you could export the list, use a replace function in spreadsheet, and then import the edited list with Importer making sure you use duplicate detection so that existing documents get updated.

Is this a calculated property? If so you can update the calculation rule then ask the server to re-calculate the values.
