I'm working with a customer that has an external repository configured (network folder). What they want to do is have Discovery search the external repository, find any *.dwg files, classify them as a specific class and leave the file in the repository (effectively changing the dwg from unmanaged to managed).
Seems like a simple enough requirement but I'm not sure how to tackle it as you can filter the Discovery search by file ext but no explicit set a class based on file ext.
You can configure a rule that only finds DWG files and then have that rule set the desired Class on the results. It is probably necessary to use Allow Incomplete Metadata because most likely you have some required properties in that class which will not be filled automatically by Discovery.
