Translate system popup message

Hi,

Is it possible to customize translation of system popup message? For example, when you double click a document, message is displayed with three buttons: Check out, Read-only, Cancel. Changing software langue does translate that text of those buttons, but i would like to further customize that translation. Is that a possibility?
