Broken/Corrupted Built-In Assignments

Client was self managing for a long time and came to us to ask for assistance in doing some things proper.

One major issue that has been discovered is that a workflow is unable to "Assign to a User"

To verify this, I created a dead simple workflow.
The Assign to User is just my user account. Nothing through the metadata.

Taking [any] object or document and trying to put it through our test assignment workflow:

Results in a "The parameter is incorrect"

I've attempted to Verify & Repair (Thorough) as well as Optimize (Thorough)
Neither had an effect.
Looking at the hidden objects for assignments, they look alright compared to other Vaults.
(This is running out of SQL)

I can create Separate Assignments just fine. But the built in for an object seems to fail with the above noted error.

Any other way to try and repair the built-in objects and properties?

  • If the customer was doing things unchecked for a while, I'd also check "assigned to" property to see if something is altered. Also;

    1 .can you create separate assignment in the workflow ?

    2. can you create an assignment object from client side ?

    But in the end, what Joonas said is true, support ticket is a must Slight smile
