Check In Immediately When Ctr+C Ctr+V Within M-Files Desktop

Question

In M-Files Desktop, when an user clicks on a file and wants to copy it by keyboard shortcut(CtrC+CtrV). The metadata card does not have the Check in immediately box checked, even though it is set to default on other document upload methods. 
 How can this be fixed?

After discussing this with our product team the behavior seems to be by design: since you are creating a new copy of an existing document, the expectation is that the user would modify it somehow to avoid having duplicate content in the vault. That's why the "Open for editing" option is pre-selected. The user can choose to check in immediately if they want to create a duplicate copy on purpose.
