I would like to use the date of a file that is being uploaded for a document date property in M-Files, but I'm not sure how this can be done.
Any advice?
Thanks,
Steve

You should be able to set this up with Property Calculator VAF, a one liner VBScript on the property automatic values and also on Metadata Card configuration with setting today() as dynamic value
Thanks for your response. I was thinking the property calculator maybe able to do it. As far as the date goes, wouldn't the today() give me the current date? I want to use the actual document date from the file system to populate the the metadata field.
Ah, if you want that, you already have that information on "Last Modified" field; on top right side of the metadata card....
But apparently, new versions changed this behaviour. Now it's displaying the date I added to M-Files.. odd.
