I have a project where a customer wants a view called Finance, then under that split by Sales, purchasing, Credit Control, then the classes under them headers. I have been on co-pilot for about an hour and it states that this cannot be done. I have managed to create the finance and the folders underneath, but when i add a filter to the finance folder to return 0 results as suggested, the results do not appear in the purchasing and other folders either. If i dont apply a filter to the main finance folder i can see everything and the 3 folders can aswell. Can something like this be achieved in M-Files? Co-Pilot response was

Star The setting you need is NOT under “Client”
It is located in a different panel:
Heavy check mark “Advanced Vault Settings”
which does not appear in your screenshot — meaning:
Point right You are not at the correct admin level,
or
Point right You logged into M‑Files Admin without sufficient privileges,
or
Point right Your cloud vault has restricted advanced settings (common in M‑Files Cloud).

To confirm we are on a cloud vault and i am full admin. They did suggest using object ID as a filter but i am unable to see this field. Any help would be much appreciated.

Ideally i need to see:

Finance - TOP LEVEL

Purchasing - SUB LEVEL - HAVE CREATED THIS AS A NEW VIEW INSIDE FINANCE LISTING THE CLASSES FOR THE BELOW LEVEL

Purchasing classes which i added as class is one of *

Sales - SUB LEVEL - HAVE CREATED THIS AS A NEW VIEW INSIDE FINANCE LISTING THE CLASSES FOR THE BELOW LEVEL

Sales classes which i added as class is one of *

Credit control - SUB LEVEL - HAVE CREATED THIS AS A NEW VIEW INSIDE FINANCE LISTING THE CLASSES FOR THE BELOW LEVEL

credit control classes which i added as class is one of *

Any help would be appreciated even if it cannot be done.
