In the User Settings | Default Landing Page, there is an option to start on your "Pinned" page, but it doesn't appear to work. The rest of the options in that setting work for me, but when "Pinned" is selected it opens to the "All" tab instead. Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes. I experienced that. Just close M-Files and open again fixed it for me.
