Thank you for taking the time to describe the problems with good examples, that is truly appreciated. Regarding issue #1, we are investigating a couple of alternatives. Would you prefer this to work…

One of the stated goals of the Desktop UI Upgrade was to unify the GUI across web, mobile and desktop.

Currently I don't see how the Web UI, which can show a list, Metadata Card and Document Preview is unified with the desktop.

Will the WebUI lose the functionality of showing MetaData and Doc Preview, like the Desktop has? Or will the Desktop be able to show metadata and doc preview?

Thoughts?

The April '23 Update is now available and added the possibility to view metadata card and preview side by side also for M-Files Desktop: April's Product Monthly Update
