Happy new year.

This feature requires the M-Files new web to be installed and configured.
Are you using M-Files in a cloud or on an on premise environment ? 

If it is on premise do you have the M-Files new web installed.
I am not sure but maybe it also can require to update your M-Files server version and not only your desktop client.
Do you know which version is installed on the server ?

Hello Patrick,

I'm a M-Files cloud client. I'm running the latest version 22.12 on server and on desktop. The new M-Files web (vnext) is activated but I'm still using the classic web. Still nowhere I can see this "Copy link" option. I see "Get hyperlink" but not this.

May be you should contact your cloud support to tell them. I think you might require a setting to be activated in your vault properties so that this feature will be enabled.
In a cloud I don't think you have access to that setting and only the cloud team can do it.

I was expecting it. It's a shame that this is not clearly stated by M-Files in their communication
