Why does one user not have access to change properties

This is properly a very simple solution and reason for this, but I can't find the reason. For one user she can not change any of the properties to the right, like selecting the unit, item or similar. 

I tried to change the users license to a named user license (even through a read-only license should be enough) and also add the user to a user group that for sure can do this, but it still does not work on her account. What can the reason for this be?

  • When you change the user group, it queues a background task to make the change. 

    I suggest you check the vault background task list to see if there is an extensive list of tasks or if something has caused an error. 

    This kind of change can take a long time, depending on the environment and the document vault size. 

  • In addition to the background operations that Timo mentioned, note that the user needs to log out from M-Files and back in to get the new license after you have changed it in M-Files Admin. They need to use the Log Out option to do this, it's not enough to close the client window.
