Standard Event Log Record Limitation

By default M-Files will retain 10,000 latest events. You can modify this limit via Advanced Vault Settings: Configuring the Vault Event Log

Btw, it also mention that:

M-Files Server removes the oldest events when the number of events is close to the value specified here unless the Electronic Signatures and Advanced Logging module and Advanced Event Log features are in use.

Does it mean that if we are using the advanced event log, it will retain all the records (unlimited) ?

Yes, all events are kept in the log if advanced logging is enabled. This is a requirement to be compliant with certain electronic signature regulations as far as I know.
