Error in 'Duplicate Files' view/filter

What version of M-Files Desktop Client and M-Files Server are you running?

And does this happen only when you add the grouping, or for any views that involve the duplicate flag?

On my side, I have no grouping and I even remove the "deleted" filter

Just "has file" and "duplicates only"

I'm not sure what you mean by "v21".  We use calver versioning, so 21.1 is the January release and 21.12 is the December release.

It's important to note as the article linked above shows that this was added to M-Files in 21.12.  If you are running a version before that then it's likely that the server simply will not understand the search condition you're building in the desktop client.

Features are added to M-Files on a monthly basis.  I know that some customers don't necessarily upgrade to the latest version immediately, but I'd definitely speak to your account manager or reseller (depending how you bought the software) about an upgrade path for that version.  M-Files releases 11 updates per annum (one per month aside from July), so that version is over two years (and ~22 updates) old now.
