Hard disk is full, and his size is not changing anymore, even if I delete documents in M-Files (500 Go)

Hello,
I hope you are going well.

SO, The hard disk associated to M-Files is full, then I delete a lot of documents in M-Files (500 Go) but the size of hard disk is not changed. Is that take a lot of time to see the changing size in the hard disk ??

Thanks
Best regards
Amarigh

  • If the vault uses Microsoft SQL Server as the database engine and you store the file data in a file system folder (instead of the vault database), you need to manually run the Optimize Database (Thorough) operation. This is the only way to remove any destroyed files from the file data server in this type of setup.
