Permissions for Change State (Admin)

I believe you need "Full control of vault" rights to see that option unfortunately. This functionality is basically designed for the occasional situation where an admin user needs to fix an object by moving it to a valid workflow state and it should not be used for normal daily workflow operations.

Thanks Joonas.  I understand.  I do believe users tend to make mistakes and it would be a good thing, if in the future, it could be a special right that can be given to a few users without giving them full control of the vault.

If your users are typically making mistakes at the same points of a workflow (for instance it is unclear which state they should go to next and they often choose wrong) one workaround could be to add transitions back to the previous states and modify the permissions of those transitions so that only the workflow admins are allowed to go back.

Obviously this is not a general solution like the "Change State (Admin)" functionality but might help with some particularly problematic phases.
