How to set widget rights for a public register hub?

Hi,

I have set up a hub that people can self register to (Public Registry), however when the user signs in, they can't see anything.  Would I, as administrator, have to set what each user can see every time that a new user is added.  When I look at the dashboard widget permissions my test user (Maria Salazar) does not have access to anything.  Is there anything that I can do to avoid having to edit each user?

Thanks

Irene

  • Hi Irene,

Thank you for reaching out to us. Indeed there is a way to facilitate this. I can propose you to:

    1. Create a hub-specific group (with a hub admin account)
    2. Set the widget rights to this group
    3. In the Self Registry configuration panel, you can define to which group(s) the registered users are supposed to be assigned.

The approach allows you to predefine the rights in advance to the group, and then, naturally, by being added to this group by default when registered, the end-users will be the widgets based on the group rights.

Please let me know if you need more details or screenshots to guide you with those steps.
