How can I hide workflow transitions in Hubshare?

Hello community,

I have a workflow that has some automatic transitions to fill some "admin fields" and would like these transitions not to be visible in Hubshare.  In the workflow properties, I have set permissions denying the possibility of a Hub account to make this transition, but Hubshare is ignoring these permissions.  I have reset the cache more than one time, but the system is allowing it.  Am I missing something.

As an example, this is part of my workflow:

The yellow shows the current state (WIP counter - Phase 1) of my workflow.  I would like the user to only be able to move to manual states of "Paused - Phase 1" or "Working on it - Phase" (in green).  The transition from WIP counter - Phase 1 to Monitoring is automatic and I set the permissions to:

But when I go to edit the state in Hubshare, these are my options

Monitoring date appears in the dropdown, what can I do?

Thanks in advance

Irene

  • Hi Irene,

This is apparently indeed not yet supported in Hubshare to only display the allowed transitions and states. I will open an internal investigation topic for this and come back to you in the coming weeks. We need to figure out how to implement this in Hubshare.

Thank you for your feedback and very proactive contribution in making Hubshare better months after months.

    Best regards

  • Hi Baptiste, thank you! I can see Hubshare improving every month and I could not be happier with all the changes.  I am a great fan of the charts and now almost all my hubs have graphs and the users are loving them!

In regards to the workflow, they are working much better now that you only display the states that are relevant to the workflow. I feel like a solution based on permissions would not be too far into the future.  Thanks for looking into this.

  • Thanks a lot Irene for this comment, please be sure it has been shared already to my team and especially the developers who worked on this chart widget.

About the initial topic, one of my developer promised me to check next Friday what's going on with this, so hopefully we should be updated by the end of the week.
