To-do List widget expected behaviour

Hi, can you please explain the expected behaviour from the To-Do List widget. If we enter items for a client to complete in the To-do List widget, they do not appear to flow through to their Hub when they log in. Is this the expected behaviour? i.e.  is it simply a widget for a client to enter their own to-do items as opposed to the administrator advising them of items to do.
