Is it possible to notify Hubshare users (both external and internal) when there is a new feed posted in the social module ? As for the chat, I tried using the chat feature and send a message to external user but unfortunately, they are not receiving any notification via email.

Notifications can be enabled by each user if they want they enabled, this can be done in user settings, email notifications and you can tick what you want to be notified on.
Unfortunately you cannot enable them for the users yourself, but the user can enable it for all hubs or specific ones.
