Hubshare Social Notification

Hey,

Notifications can be enabled by each user if they want they enabled, this can be done in user settings, email notifications and you can tick what you want to be notified on.

Unfortunately you cannot enable them for the users yourself, but the user can enable it for all hubs or specific ones.

Hi, but I have a question. do the seetings from the screenshot also work for get a notification when a chat is received? I'm asking because I'm trying to setup a notification for the users on HubShare everytime they're getting a new chat from the Social module, is that possible? Thank you

Hello, I tested it and it worked fine. I see the notification when a new chat received. I also tried to enable the notifications via email but they didn't work as I didn't get any email when I receive a new chat. Do I need to configure something at HubShare level to get this notifications? (Like setting up a SMTP server or some connection). Or the new chat notifications didn't work via email?

Hello, if you see the notification settings, some of the actions are not having a box to check, which means the notification process only goes through the in-app notification center.

But I enabled all of them and did some testing trying to get notified via email, creating a new chat or updating an existing conversation in the Social module but the email didn't come to my inbox. Or these actions are tied to other parts/sections in the Social module?
