Logging with an inactive e-mail?

Hi! Does the username (e-mail) still work when logging in, even though the e-mail itself is not working anymore? We were wondering a situation where a client has an access to a hub with his work e-mail but he quits the job (we might not get that information), so does the client still have an access to the hub even though the e-mail is not working. Of course he cannot change the password anymore, but might still remember the password. Thanks in advance!

  • Hi Jessica,

Indeed we can't control if a user still has a valid and accessible email address to justify of his hubshare account.

Still, we have a built-in option that can be enabled in Hubshare by an administrator of the company to activate the automatic disabling of external accounts when they don't log in for a period of time (configurable as well).

It helps administrators to manage the potential large number of external users and identify those who are not active anymore, most of the time because they don't need to access the hubs made available to them.

Of course if the person still wants to connect to access the hubs, we can't do a lot against that.
