VB script that call a pdf edit. object to add text/watermark to an existing PDF

Is there any module/Add in plugin/feature/VBscript to automatically add a watermark or header/footer with a reference code based on the M-Files metadata to an approved document(mainly existing PDF files) ?
Thank you for the information, is the watermark functionality also possible with an existing PDF File.(e.g. An existing PDF file is saved to M-Files in the draft phase, after approval, a watermark with a correspondence number extracted from the metadata should be added as a watermark/footer or header to the final PDF version)?
