Creating columns and rows in metadata card

Hi all, is it possible to create columns and rows in metadata? I want to create an assets tracking management in M-Files, and creating this as an object is better than creating templates to fill up in MS Word/Excel. I want to create those in metadata but i don't know if this can be done.

Example Format in metadata is like this

QTY    |  Description  |  Serial No.  |
-------------------------------------
______|_____________|___________|
______|_____________|___________|

    This is great, but the problem is that when I change the columns in the detail view and then select a different customer (in your case) the columns are the standard ones.. Or do I miss something?
