Approve or Reject assignment by custom URL

Question

Hello, 
 Is there a way to generate an url (desktop/web) to instantly approve or reject an assignment? 
 My idea is to embed those urls in an E-mail for quick approvals if needed. Something like: 
 Hello, 
 You need to approved this (url to object). 
 Use the following link to Approve or Reject: 
 Approve Reject 
 
 Regards,

That's not currently possible and I didn't see any previous feature request that covered that so I created a new feature request for our Product Team, ID 159349. No ETA on when that will be added. 
 It's possible this could be done via a custom app or scripting. I would recommend you work with your Account Manager and our Consulting teams if you wanted to explore this possibility.
