Exporting excel to M-files vault using VBA

Hi,

Our organisation just moved to M-files. Normally, I would export my Excel files as PDF using VBA.

Now I would like to replicate this workflow but upload to M-files instead.

Does anyone know if it is possible to upload a file to M-files using VBA? I cannot seem to find any clue in the documentation!

Question is why you would want to do this? Do you have the M-Files Tab in Excel? From there you can save the file in M-Files..

Good question. I am trying to build an Excel that is intuitive to use for everyone. To minimize hassle for the end user if that makes sense

But the important thing is to tag the Files with Meta Data when importing to M-Files and when saving with the button on the M-Files Tab it will open a Meta Data Card which let you fill all the needed Info.. I think this is the way to go.. Other way would be to keep an excel Template already in M-Files and create the new document from there.. I wouldn't recommend creating a custom save function in Excel for M-Files..
