hyperlink to related object in workflow notfication

We have a workflow setup to manage requests from customers.  We send out various workflow notifications as the request moves through the workflow.  We've added placeholders to also display information for related objects (Account, Contact, etc).  Is there a way to create a hyperlink in the workflow notification directly to the related object so that when users receive the email notifications, they can go directly to the related object (Account, Contact, etc)?
