Hi all
Im hoping someone has an answer to my problem as it is driving me mad
Ive been trying to create a template for a simple departmental cost sheet all works fine until you close m files and when you try to check the document out it comes up with either the following :

Connect.cpp, 593, The file appears to be corrupted. (0x800A16A0)
CheckOutAction.cpp, 123, The file appears to be corrupted. (0x800A16A0)
WordCheckOutAction.cpp, 144, The file appears to be corrupted. (0x800A16A0)
MSWordApplication.cpp, 2036, The file appears to be corrupted. (0x800A16A0)
(M-Files 8.0.2910.10)

or simply cannot open corrupt file
But the starnge thing is that it will open in read only, ive tried creating the template in word and excel but still the same problem

if any one has any ideas it will be much appreciated

    Thankyou for the prompt reply
I first had the problem creating the template in excel which I created as a normal xlsx, so I thought I would create it word to see if it was any different and I created it as a docx file, but i will try and save the template to doc to see if that works. I have noticed the problem wih PDF files before but i thought that was a problem with our viewer
Ive tried to open the document this morning and unfortunatley the file doesn't open even in read only mode
