Hi all
Im hoping someone has an answer to my problem as it is driving me mad
Ive been trying to create a template for a simple departmental cost sheet all works fine until you close m files and when you try to check the document out it comes up with either the following :

Connect.cpp, 593, The file appears to be corrupted. (0x800A16A0)
CheckOutAction.cpp, 123, The file appears to be corrupted. (0x800A16A0)
WordCheckOutAction.cpp, 144, The file appears to be corrupted. (0x800A16A0)
MSWordApplication.cpp, 2036, The file appears to be corrupted. (0x800A16A0)
(M-Files 8.0.2910.10)

or simply cannot open corrupt file
But the starnge thing is that it will open in read only, ive tried creating the template in word and excel but still the same problem

if any one has any ideas it will be much appreciated

I have almost the same problem.
Some documents when trying to open shows error that the content is corrupted. It opens as a new document and is not tied (attached/linked) to Vault.
I have no idea it is problem with Word application or with M-Files application.
    Please, Help!
