Notifications links are not clickable

Hello everyone,

When we send notifications, we attach a link that looks like this: %HYPERLINKFRAGMENTHTML% so that the user who receives the notification can access the object.

The links cannot be accessed by clicking.

  1. Why aren't the links for the notifications clickable?
  2. There is any other option instead of using the %HYPERLINKFRAGMENTHTML% attribute for getting the object link?

Thank you,

Sapir

  • 1. Links that use other protocols than http(s), such as m-files:// URLs for Desktop and Mobile, may not be clickable in all email clients such as Gmail and New Outlook. In other words this is an issue caused by the email client, not M-Files.

    2. You can find the different linking options in this support article: Examples of M-Files link placeholders in notifications If you have the new M-Files links enabled in your vault, I recommend using those in the notifications as well. That would be the "M-Files HTML link (rich text)" placeholder. Clicking such a link let's the user select which M-Files client to open it in.
