Hiding Main Object and Related Object

Question

Hi All, 
 Upon testing hiding main object is not possible using "From" and "To" Relationship Visibility in Advanced Vault Settings. May we know if we can achieve this via third party interface?

If you want to hide some object types fully from views and search results, there's an option for this under Advanced Vault Settings > Search > Excluded Object Types. 
 Otherwise I don't really understand the use case: why are you wanting to hide these objects? Couldn't you just modify their permissions so that users don't see them?
