Add a Signature Mark to a PDF File – Digital Signature

Hi,

We want to integrate M-Files with a digital signature solution to allow customers who do not use M-Files to sign documents.

The most challenging issue is that every file should include a designated signature mark (e.g., $$) where we expect the customer’s signature to appear.

When a file is generated from M-Files in Word, adding the signature mark is straightforward. However, in cases where a client uploads a PDF file that is already prepared, the challenge is inserting the signature mark afterward.

One possible solution is to check out the PDF, modify it to include the signature mark, and then check it back in.

We would like to know if anyone has found an easier way to handle this.

Thanks!

  • Hello Idan, Do you try with a tag (Text in white in the word template) for example with adope https://helpx.adobe.com/sign/using/text-tag.html

There's the same tools in several software

If it is indeed about digital signatures. In the scenario where a document is uploaded that has already been signed, this will not be possible.

    2. The moment of signing
