Good day,
I am trying to setup a notification reminder that will activate everyday beyond the deadline date, until the assignment is complete. I have created a few variations however it seems to stop after meeting the conditions once, not following up the next day.
I have created this rule as both a digest and separate notification, digest appears to work best at providing the information in a quick view format.
Status: Object Type = Assignment, Deleted = No
Property: DaysFrom( Deadline ) >= 1 (have also tried 0)
Event subscription: Document or other object matches the conditions of the filter
This does kick in the day after the assignment was due, however it is not followed up the next day, even though the conditions should still remain true. I have also not made any changes to the documents or metadata cards, since in an RL scenario a user would not if they had ignore the first follow up reminder.
I am suspecting that the recurring scenario is impossible this way, as it will require something to change in order to trigger a second notification, correct? Which if that is true, certainly defeats the purpose of this >= too scenario.
One work around I can think of is to create three separate notification rules, 48 hours past due, 1 week past due and 2 weeks past due. I am hopeful that at least this level of recurrence would work since they are unique.
