To be honest, I have used ShareX before, and while it is pretty good, I am also a big fan of the simplicity that the built in Win + shift + s command provides. The issue is apparently a known Win11 issue across the board, not just my crummy laptop, so hopefully it will return to normal :)

Doing VAF apps is easier 

You can configure ShareX standard actions so you can fire up the shortcut, click on screen or drag a window and then it opens the screenshot directly for annotation.. I'm using it cause there are many annotation options, more than greenshot which I used before..

There is a workaround for non-functioning menu that is one major issue with Windows 11. 

Note that this is not a fix but a temporary workaround, until we officially announce we're Windows 11 compatible. 

Workaround could be enabling classic ribbon: 

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Shell Extensions\Blocked 
->> New key: {e2bf9676-5f8f-435c-97eb-11607a5bedf7}
->> Restart Explorer.exe or reboot the computer

Thanks guys! Unfortunately I will not be able to share an example as we plan on commercializing this application (at a very reasonable price). Also the UI code is quite complex so I would not know what to share :D

Also, Windows 11 is worth it just based on being able to select Windows Terminal as your default command prompt. God I love mine <3333333
