PDF annotation with M-Files mobile

Hello everyone,

Our customer would like to use M-Files mobile with her IPAD or Galaxy TAB to annotate PDF which are store in M-Files.

I try to do this with the annotation module but the functionnality is limited ( no color pen, no size pen, etc..) 

The best things would be to use the direct iOS annotation and to save the document in M-Files but the check-in/check out doesn't works with M-Files mobile.

Someone see another solution or idea ?

    Hi there, 

    If annotations have been turned on for the document vault in question, mobile devices can annotate. I just tested this with Android phone, see images below. 

    For Cloud Vault, the feature must be separately enabled by M-Files upon request. Once enabled, it cannot be disabled after that. 

    The test above was done for Word document by entering it's preview mode, and then from the three dots at the top right corner, this menu shown at first image is shown.

    Thanks a lot !

    I activate the annotation in my vault and it's works. Do you know where I can find the details of the signification for each button in the annotation taskbar ( in grey in your printscreean : for exemple : circle, text, etc..)

    There is no documentation of the features of the "grey bar" options. 

    Basically those all features are a bit simplified same what you can find from the M-Files Desktop. 

    We are utilizing a 3rd party library to this feature, and our product development team has selected the features as in ribbon to be the most valuable for simple annotations.
