Admin right "Change permission for all object" doesn't work?

Hi!

I need to unset for some users the ability of Change permission for documents (i.e. they would have right to change the permission).
I supposed, that for this reason is there check box  "Change permission for all object" in Users properties. But when I made some tests, I think, that this right is not changeabled :-( If this check box checked or unchecked, the user can change permission of documents in any way :-((
The user has not the "server admininistrator" role.

Any idea, please?

And second question: why the hidden users (users, which are not visible for someones) are able to use in Permission rules as "(hidden)"?? This seems a little bit nonsens - I want to sign someone as hidden because I want to hide them, not to rename to "hidden" ;-)

  • I am sorry for my question about permission rights for user - the answer was in manual!
Now I know: the permission right for user is not used for allow/deny permissions for documents, but for overwrite the denied permission fo every document.

    PS: RTFM :-)
