Changing the 4 quadrants in M-Files Desktop

I guess not but I also wonder why we cannot assign different Views here.. As a workaround you could make a copy of e.g. of a standard view and then customize the filter criteria of the original to match the view you want to see.. But the title stays the same (like "Checked Out to Me") and you cannot rename it so it will end beeing kind of confusing..

Maybe someone else has a better idea..

Yes.. Those 2 are basically views. It would be nice if we have the flexibility to use whatever preferred views we want there instead of the standard Assigned to Me & Checked Out to Me..

M-Files Desktop is getting a major UI refresh this year with a simpler interface more in line with the look and feel of the new M-Files Web, so the four tiles of the home screen will be gone soon. Stay tuned for more information on this upcoming refresh in the coming months!

What about Detail Listings then and other UI Addons?

There should be no breaking changes for UI extensions and we are testing the official extensions to make sure they work with the new UI.

Is there a timeline or can you name the release which will introduce the new UI?

The release is currently planned for the November '22 Update.

Yes, the general look and feel is similar to the new M-Files Web.
