Screen Preview

Is there a default setting somewhere that will make the preview screen automatically show the whole page

    I would consider the answer to be no. 

    That would cause quite a bit of server load, as the previews are created in most cases at the server end. Some previews are of course, created with local Windows tools in some use cases. 

    Also, the metadata should be used to describe the document so that the preview should not be the first thing to look at.
