"use these values as defaults for the next document" default unchecked

Is there a registry key or setting somewhere to change the default behaviour when importing multiple files to uncheck the "use these values as defaults for the next document" instead of having it checked?

It looks like there is a advanced vault settings > client > desktop > metadata card > default check in options.  but the only option for multi-file documents is whether or not "check-in immediately" is set, not the "use these values as defaults for the next document"  though.
