Opening documents Access is Denied

Hi, a user is receiving this error when opening .jpg files from M-Files, note .png or any other file types seem to open fine. Previewing the .jpg in M-Files works fine, and copying the file to the users desktop opens fine. However double clicking on the file presents this error, please assist.

  • Hi Bryce,

I can't see any open tracker items about this.  The error stack seems to indicate the registry is involved somehow (although that's not always how these things work...).

Can you try to access the vault as the same user from another machine?  If so then might indicate an issue with that machine or user profile.

If you cannot move forward - and I suspect this may be the case - then please open a support case.

    Craig.
