M-Files Client / Admin Tools on Windows 10 ARM (for M3 Macs)

earlier update for the topic is from over 1 ago... any updated thoughts and plans to add windows clients to support ARM architecture?

  • I would love to jump in on this discussion as I have also been looking for an answer on this for a long time.

    There is a tool called UTM, similar to Parallels Desktop on Mac, just free. They offer an option to Emulate the entire OS, in this case - Windows 10. This is very heavy on processor, but M2 chip handled it very well, only the installation of Windows 10 22H2 took more than an hour. 

    In this screenshot, you can basically see the CPU burning just by opening M-Files, this was expected, but at least we can say M-Files is working (not natively) on ARM. Relaxed

    If someone is willing to test it on newer M series Apple Silicone I would love to see the performance of this.
