Currently federated authentication is in place on our vault. (SAML SSO)
- To connect to the M-FILES + M-Files Web application, we use the "UPN" attribute which is linked to the email address. So we just put our e-mail adress.
- On M-Files desktop, we use the "samAccountname" attribute which is linked to the current Windows account onpremise AD "domain\username",
which means that in our login accounts on the admin platform, we have two accounts:
1. The account linked to the email address which uses the “UPN” attribute: “domain\firstname.lastname”
2. The account linked to the onpremise Active Directory which uses the "samAccountname" attribute: "domain\lastname"
How can I put this together to only have one login method and not have 2 licenses for each user? (1 licence for WEB+Mobile & 1 licence for Desktop app)
