Is there a way to hide the Workflow selection option from metadata card

Hi,

Either on Web, mobile or client, is there a way to hide workflow selection for some user,object or class ?

The MDC is pretty good for creating and displaying relatively complex, form-type data, but the workflow section is slightly confusing.
