What is the best way to assess the current size in GB of an on-premises vault?

The vault is currently configured as a Firebird vault.

Is it just the size of the M-Files folder on the server?

And then secondly, is there a way of seeing if all the used drive space on the folders is indeed used or if there are white spaces available or temp data that can be removed?
