We are looking at not wanting to manage everything from the server, as we need to set automatic logouts for several users and the named users are throwing a fit about being asked to be kicked every 10-20 minutes.
For the users that will be automatically logged out, they get a warning every time they complete a task:
This is correct that we want to remove the rights after they've approved.
This can be disabled in the settings:
Advanced Vault Settings > Configuration > Client [Yes] > Classic Desktop > Metadata > Warnings > Show warnings when losing individual control:
- [NO] Read Access
- [NO] Edit Access
- [NO] Change Permission Access
As we have a mandate to use registry keys to control who has auto-logout times. We cannot turn this section on.
Similar to the Registry keys to control the automatic timeout.
Are there registry keys for these 3? so that we can change it from the default Yes to no.
If you have a link, it would be appreciated. Have looked for the answer already in the community.m-files.com, partners.cloudvault.m-files.com, and developers.m-files.com with no luck.
Either the searches are not working to pull these items with the terminology of the warning, or I'm blind or they are hidden elsewhere.
